More than 600 SME representatives and decision-makers from business and politics took part in the Forum for Swiss Foreign Trade and Investment. The focus of the event was on trends and market opportunities in international business, exchanging experience and imparting new impetus. Speakers at the well attended Forum on 2 and 3 April 2009 included CEOs of Swiss companies and two prominent personalities from the USA: David Plouffe, former campaign manager for Barack Obama, and economic expert Nouriel Roubini.
In addition at the Forum for Swiss Foreign Trade and Investment the Osec Export Award was awarded for the second time. The winner was K-Team SA.
Especially in view of the presence of high-ranking guests from at home and abroad, participants found the networking opportunities provided particularly valuable.
